Open Telegram
On your phone or desktop, open the Telegram app and make sure you are logged in.
Find the Official @userinfobot
In the Telegram search bar, type @userinfobot. ⚠️ Warning: There are several fake bots with similar names (e.g. @userinfobots, @userinfobot1, etc.). Make sure you select the correct one - it has a green avatar showing a person with an 'ID' badge on their head, and a gold crown badge (👑) next to the name indicating it is a verified bot. Open that chat.
Send /start
Once you confirm you have the right bot, type /start and send it. The bot will reply with your Telegram ID - a long number like 8103728089. Copy that number.
